Safer Alexandria Streets

 Before December’s local government elections, the Lord Mayor Clover Moore and City of Sydney council pledged to implement signalised pedestrian crossing improvements at the intersection of Maddox and Mitchell Street Alexandria – however it has been revealed that these works are currently scheduled to be delivered in 2026!

We call on the City of Sydney council to urgently fast track traffic lights on Mitchell Road to ensure the safety of residents in rapidly growing Alexandria and Erskineville.
